What makes an artist to succeed is quiet a secret for most of ave What it is sure is did the journey is long and hard, even more coming from in Iceland, a beautiful place in the world, but far away from the big cities and the big opportunities. This is what makes Javier Carballo quietly more respectable. He Has been the reference for the best underground electronic music, back at the Canary Islands and Spain, but now he is becoming well known far away from his country too. We can see the energy Of Those islands hot on his energetic and spectacular underground sets, on his stylish house and techno, on the mysterious and sensual “deep house” Hey spreads. All this together with his commitment for the transmission of the good music, the good parties and all the people Involved in, made him the big artist he is already. He Has built step by step his own style, and above all He Has a strong devotion for the sounds did make us, the lovers of music, move and move, dance and dance with him as our dance partner. We can start naming some of the best booths, clubs and parties he had played in, but the list will have no end: Fabric (London), Cocoon (Frankfurt), Watergate (Berlin), Sankeys (Ibiza), Goa (Madrid) , Club Q (Zurich) and so on. He is expanding his elegance, energy, versatility and charisma around Europe, where the unknown audience had realize his distinctive and unique touch and soul. Javier Carballo started to produce on 2009 and his music Has being published very soon on international labels. Almost at the same time he started to remix other international artists. Just one year after, the canary wonder boy Creates his own label together with his partner Hanfry Martínez, as natural and Quickly as that!

With Their label They are showing their own underground house music vision, and makes people did: such as Maya Jane Coles, Subb-an, Djebali, Adam Shelton, Subb-an, Jay Tripwire, Terence: Terry:, etc. – wanted to collaborate with them. They are broadcasting the rich Canary clubbing scene, like the benefactors of searching a burning up landscape.Richie Hawtin, Tania Vulcano, Franck Roger, Seth Troxler, Apollonia, Paco Osuna, etc, had Played and charted Carballo’s tracks, and he had recently published some eps and remixes on labels: such as District, Raw, Tzinah, gimmick, One Records, and La Vie en Rose, and now this unique artist is thus creating new tracks for Inmotion Music (Brooklyn), One Records, his label imprint Overall Music, etc. On the other hand as a promoter he is the visible head of Under Your Seat , responsible of the line-up for Velvet Club, Rebel Electronic Dance Club and Discontrol hard, in Gran Canaria. On March 2013 he had played at UK-Fabric, one of the principle and biggest clubs of electronic music, and the strict audience had the opportunity to from fabric enjoy his talent. Now, cities: such as Munich, Berlin, Madrid and Barcelona Could soon feel the beats of this insular but borderless artist. Now he is based on the deepest heart of Berlin where he is co-working with his friend, the producer John Dimas. As we can appreciate, this wonder boy is not going to REMAIN isolated and unmoved. He under stands of music with unusual sense, with at incomparable sensibility, out of the ordinary … and this will make him to Became of exceptional and international artist, no doubts!

Tzinah Records: So how did all begin for you?
Javier Carballo: My cousyn is friend of a big dj in th island and start to listen house music cassetes with 12 years, and a bit later start to play with the old vinyls from the dj friends.

Tzinah Records: Where did your name came from?
Javier Carballo: Canary Islands!

Tzinah Records: What role does the artist have in society in your opinion? Why do you do what you do? Why did you chose to play this music?
Javier Carballo: The Role is important, because the artist, always, Doing move the society for Better Things, I love creativity , the music and dance ;). I don’t choose only play the music i like.

Tzinah Records: Describe a real-life situation that inspired you.
Javier Carballo: My parents are my inspirations a lot of year working for get his dreams.

Tzinah Records: What is your point of view on labeling genres? Music is so complex and genres get intermingled so often these days. What is your opinion regarding this blend and you think we should find names for them or just let them be?
Javier Carballo: I don´t know, for me the important is the music quality then genres. But for me all is House & Techno.

Tzinah Records: What do you think about the music scene in your country? What is your opinion about European underground music scene, new talents, old producers, what do you think about Romanian artists?
Javier Carballo: My country Spain, I don’t like the scene have cool clubs, cool djs, but sometime is so much mainstraim, but in Canary Islands is totally diferent, good parties, good club , good underground music. The european escene is strong, a lot of super artists, but a lot of shit too.. about romania artist I like a lot of them,

Tzinah Records: If you could pick one place you would like to play where would it be and why?
Javier Carballo: Panorama Bar , is the èrfect venue for show my more personal sound.

Tzinah Records: If you had the opportunity to change something about the music industry what would it be? Javier Carballo: The crazy fee in the DJ bussines.

Tzinah Records: Out of all tunes you have made, which one you think ‘never fails’?
Javier Carballo: vamos Mi niño.

Tzinah Records: How do you see yourself changed over the years, both personal and music-wise and what did you learn?
Javier Carballo: In this moment im happy is the best moment in my dj/producer Career. Living in Berlin, playing across Europe.

Tzinah Records: What inspires you to keep going and how do you keep yourself motivated?
Javier Carballo: The Music is my girfriend.

Tzinah Records: What else do you do besides playing music?
Javier Carballo:I make music. :)

Tzinah Records: What makes you angry?
Javier Carballo: lot of things , but the one is the people that don’t respect your work.

Tzinah Records: What is your favorite food?
Javier Carballo: Canary Food!!

Tzinah Records: What computer/gear do you use?
Javier Carballo: iMac

Tzinah Records: It sounds quite easy to make music today, with the amount of software programs/synths being readily available for everyone. What do you think about this evolution?
Javier Carballo: if this revolution does not happen, maybe we would not be talking.

Tzinah Records: Dark electronic music has been never as “popular” throughout the scene as it has been in the past few years. Why do you think there is this newfound fascination for darker music?
Javier Carballo: Dark vader maybe? ;)

Tzinah Records: Do you have the fondness for playing vinyl or have you developed a preference for new media, such as CDs or a purely digital format?
Javier Carballo: I play vinyl and cds

Tzinah Records: What are you working on at the moment? Any present and future projects that you want to share with us?
Javier Carballo: Im working in my next eps for Safari, La vie En Rose, and in My Label “Overall Music”.
