That’s how Robert Catalin Paparoiu known as Robson describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his parents eclectic combination of european electronica (Kraftwerk), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode)… all which became infused with his own love for both electronic music and video game music, Robson ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: big synth work, deep basslines, and occasional vocal cuts from old movies… all on top of a pronounced groovy beat.
A very active member of his local community, Robson is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, warehouse parties, beach parties and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a producer and promoter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically. He also likes to get involved runing his own party LOST in London together with Adrianho a platform dedicated to helping himself and others become better DJs through passion and purpose.
