CorsuCorsu is a newcoming DJ and producer from Ukraine. After DJing at numerrious events including his own one in 2013 he began actively produce his own tracks giving to us a unique techno sound.
In 2014 Corsu had published his tracks on well known European labels, such as: Tzinah records, Moral Fiber music, Sakadat records, Leone music, and Moonfire music lab.

Tzinah Records: To start with, please, recommend us something to listen to while we go through this interview. It can be anything.
Corsu: I would like to give you another one my latest mix

Tzinah Records: Could you remember when and where have you felt it for the first time that you were to become a music artist?
Corsu: Since 2010 I started to interested of electronic music and the first experiments of DJing and music production began in 2013.

Tzinah Records: Why did you choose to create and play this particular type of music? Are there any artists that touched you deeply while developing your own style?
Corsu: Techno parties in Odessa were organized by promo group «Feeleeed», which invited artists such as: Rhadoo, Raresh, Petre Inspirescu, Alex Celler, Piticu, Arapu etc. These artists with their performances influenced my musical taste. Since that time I have delved into this culture and I began to work as a DJ and create my own tracks.

Tzinah Records: Please, briefly, describe for us, the current state of the underground music scene in the place you come from. Is it any good?
Corsu: Actually Odessa is the center of the underground culture in Ukraine. The best parties and top artists performed here in Odessa.

Tzinah Records: Without giving out too much about your secret weapons, please tell us how does the magic work in your production routine. Software? Analog? What does your DJ set-up imply?
Corsu: For production I’m using Ableton. I think its the most comfortable and ergonomic sequencer for creating music. I prefer to play with CD.

Tzinah Records: What are the aspects of your daily life that are influencing the shape and sound of the music that you currently make?
Corsu: Basically I’m starting to produce after attending a party, inspired by obtained emotions.

Tzinah Records: Which underground house DJ or producer would you love to take out for a summer picnic? With which artist (from any music genre) would you spend 24 hours stuck in an elevator?
Corsu: Ha ha ha)) In two cases I prefer Rhadoo.

Tzinah Records: Have you already played in your most-dreamed about venue? Which one is that?
Corsu: I am waiting for upcoming Tzinah Showcase in Bucharest. It is the most expected!!!

Tzinah Records: What’s your favorite type of breakfast?
Corsu: coffee and cigarets ))

Tzinah Records: What do you do when the music is not playing?
Corsu: Watching movies.

Tzinah Records: What’s the story behind your Tzinah Family Podcast? How did you record it and are there released or unreleased tracks?
Corsu: In this podcast, I used my new track which was produced yesterday.

Tzinah Records: Are there any of your plans/upcoming projects that you would like to share with us? Where can we see you play next?
Corsu: I’m working on my own tracks. Also I’m in anticipation of the release of collaboration with Silat Beksi what will be released on vinyl. Next party where you can hear me is: Tzinah Showcase in Bucharest (2nd of April).

Tzinah Records: Supposing you come back reading this interview in 10 years from now; could you try saying something to your future-self?
Corsu: Things happen for the best!
