Tzinah Records: To start with, please, recommend us something to listen to while we go through this interview. It can be anything.
Adam Touch: Beside electronic music, I really like get lost in other genres. I took a classic track from 1974, performed by the infamous band, Kool and The Gang.

Tzinah Records: Could you remember when and where have you felt it for the first time that you were to become a music artist?
Adam Touch: Became an artist from a music lover is a long process. I remember when I fall in love first with it. My mother was a talented piano player and at the age of 4 I decided to follow in her footsteps. I played almost 11 years on several instruments and at around 16 I became more and more interested in the electronic side. These points lead me to make my first own production in 2012. I think around this time I felt for the first that I’m more than a music fanatic.

Tzinah Records: Why did you choose to create and play this particular type of music? Are there any artists that touched you deeply while developing your own style?
Adam Touch: his question is as hard as that ‘how can you describe your style’. There is no correct answer, but if necessary: this is where I can totally express myself. There are no boundaries at all, I can build elements from any other styles into my productions. There were also some role models whose work inspired me a lot from different ways but it would be unfair to pick only one.

Tzinah Records: Please, briefly, describe for us, the current state of the underground music scene in the place you come from. Is it any good?
Adam Touch: The e-music scene at Budapest is not as bad as a lot say. There are attempts with more or less success but from the background, I definitely observe a positive progress, our style is popular these days thanks to All Inn Records who’s running its own showcases. Other crews, such as Bedroom, Deepfields also did a great job to popularize these sounds. Beside this, there are also negative things but I never involved in my country’s scene, or at least not as much as others so it’s not my business to judge.

Tzinah Records: Without giving out too much about your secret weapons, please tell us how does the magic work in your production routine. Software? Analog? What does your DJ set-up imply?
Adam Touch: I’m not that guy who’s sitting 24/7 in front of the computer waiting for inspiration. To be truth, I always lack of inspiration. I need to go out, meet people, go to the university. All in all do anything, which are not related to electronic music. After doing these simple things I’m able to turn my brain into production mode.

Tzinah Records: Have you already played in your most-dreamed about venue? Which one is that?
Adam Touch: I cannot say venues exactly, I say only cities. One of my favorite is Paris. I played twice there and both were unforgettable. Everyone should experience that vibe. The other city may be Berlin (guess why) but I’ve never been there before.

Tzinah Records: What motivates you to be an active part of the underground movement?
Adam Touch: I want to be a valuable part of the underground society, not one among many. My main points are achieve more and more goals and take myself into higher levels. The most important motivators are real feedbacks. Not those, you get on the promo platforms but those real advices and experiences you can built into your productions. If you deny these, you can’t take that next step.

Tzinah Records: What’s your favorite type of breakfast?
Adam Touch: Just coffee.

Tzinah Records: What do you do when the music is not playing?
Adam Touch: Music is part of my daily routine but if not playing then maybe I’m studying at the university or watching series, I’m addicted to them.

Tzinah Records: What’s the story behind your Tzinah Family Podcast? How did you record it and are there released or unreleased tracks?
Adam Touch: I prepared this selection carefully, a proper mixture of both released and promo tracks, older & new ones. My approach, to give a new musical experience for the listeners.

Tzinah Records: Are there any of your plans/upcoming projects that you would like to share with us? Where can we see you play next?
Adam Touch: I’ve started a few interesting collaborations recently, I’m really excited what will come out at the end! On DJ side, I’ve joined the Analoq agency, and my first appearance under their aegis will be at Off Sonar, Barcelona in June. Not to mention, the first Tzinah Showcase in Hungary will be held in April, buzzing!

Tzinah Records: Supposing you come back reading this interview in 10 years from now; could you try saying something to your future-self?
Adam Touch: Not to laugh too much on the answers!
