Tzinah Records: Could you remember when and where have you felt it for the first time that you were to become a music artist?
Cheise: It was 10 years ago, I was still in high school. At that time, I had no computer, but i was awfully interesting how make tracks and how DJ are mixing them. And when I bought a computer, I began learn all this, watching videos and reading various manuals. I could spend days and nights of giving himself to this)))

Tzinah Records: Why did you choose to create and play this particular type of music? Are there any artists that touched you deeply while developing your own style?
Cheise: I started writing music with a different style of course, and then tried another, then another …. because tastes have changed over time, respectively, and my music. But for a long time I stopped to this style, and not going to change it. I like this atmosphere, the sounds…. I have long been familiar with the project «iO» I really like them and i like it how is now. Perhaps to some extent this project influenced me and my style. At the moment, of course, there are more than one project and musician who influence on my music.

Tzinah Records: Please, briefly, describe for us, the current state of the underground music scene in the place you come from. Is it any good?
Cheise: The current state of the music in my town, is much to be desired, for me personally. Basically commercial music format, which me is not liking! :))

Tzinah Records: Without giving out too much about your secret weapons, please tell us how does the magic work in your production routine. Software? Analog? What does your DJ set-up imply?
Cheise: I tested more than one program for writing music, but eventually settled on «Ableton Live». I really like to work on it and it is very convenient. To process music i’m using quite a bit of their favorite plugins. Analog equipment i do not use, because i do not have it. In club i play CD, but i want play on vinyl too. With a laptop i played only a couple of times and it was a long time ago) I do not like it.

Tzinah Records: What are the aspects of your daily life that are influencing the shape and sound of the music that you currently make?
Cheise: Different aspects affect on my ideas tracks and sounds, there are good and… there are bad. But as a rule, it is certainly positive moments and emotions that help me and give inspiration. Will be more positive emotions, and will be more ideas

Tzinah Records: Which underground house DJ or producer would you love to take out for a summer picnic? With which artist (from any music genre) would you spend 24 hours stuck in an elevator?
Cheise: Oh … there are a lot of artists that I would take on picnic with me), but at the moment I really like Fumiya Tanaka, Barac, Plusculaar. I like music and DJ sets tINI, with her I would and spent 24 hours in an elevator.

Tzinah Records: Have you already played in your most-dreamed about venue? Which one is that?
Cheise: Unfortunately, I haven’t had capability to play in this place, but I am confident that soon it will happen.

Tzinah Records: What motivates you to be an active part of the underground movement?
Music is very important to me and it takes a big part of my life. Its, for me, my motivation which I enjoy.

Tzinah Records: What’s your favorite type of breakfast?
Cheise: I very rarely eat breakfast, but make myself every morning a cup of coffee with milk or black tea

Tzinah Records: What do you do when the music is not playing?
Cheise: When music is not playing, I spend time with my friends: nature, movies or just sitting and communicating on different topics.

Tzinah Records: What’s the story behind your Tzinah Family Podcast? How did you record it and are there released or unreleased tracks?
I recorded podcast in Live, I played my favorite tracks at the moment. Here you will hear some of my tracks that have not been published and one, the release of which was on Tzinah and also the music of other musicians.

Tzinah Records: Are there any of your plans/upcoming projects that you would like to share with us? Where can we see you play next?
Cheise: Of course there are plans, for example, release and play on vinyl, record some joint releases and much more. New projects not yet in sight. And next gigs very soon, this Popovka, Crimea – where before there was the festival Kazantip.

Tzinah Records: Supposing you come back reading this interview in 10 years from now; could you try saying something to your future-self?
Cheise: The question is not simple….i want all plans to be fulfilled. And later 10 years, I could tell you 10 times more about myself…
